Roberta's Cucumber Salad
I have no idea who Roberta is, but I have to thank her and Anne for giving me this awesome recipe. It makes me happy, as well as, anyone who tastes them...
Here you go Pete and Sarah-Pickle away.
7 cups of unpeeled cukes (about 6)
1 cup sugar
1 cup vinegar
1 Tbsp Celery Seed
1 cup red onion rings
Slice cukes. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp of Salt. Let stand one hour and then be sure to drain. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over pickles and refrigerate overnight or several days stirring constantly. Drain liquid before serving.
YUM YUM YUMMY!
As a little extra Yummy-ness-slice up some cheddar cheese and eat along with the pickles.

Thanks for the info. I will be making these for the Sr. Picnic tomorrow night. We invited the Cochrans,Tomlinsons and Grandma Roe. Should be a good time. Dad will be at the grill with steaks.
See, it pays to be a Sr. citizen:>)
Looking forward to seeing all of you again.
