Played in the Faculty Jazz Band at the school talent show last night. Our band played It don't Mean a thing if it ain't got that Swing. WE WERE GOOD.
You know you are good when 8th grade boys, who are playing Nirvana, Smells LIke Teen Spirit, want high fives after you get off the stage. We were better than last year with an addition of a vocalist. May have to leave the life of guidance counseling for the road. However it felt strange to be surrounded by more people that were annoyed with the Nirvana song then not. Man, I LOVED THAT SONG!
Being a grown up is hard.
